Who Are We?

Moms Take Action is a grassroots non profit organization created to defend mothers (or any family members) who choose to defend their families with a firearm.

Mom's Demand Action has put it out there that somehow we love our children less because we support the Second Amendment.  They believe that because we choose to take the safety of our children in our own hands that we are monsters.  This could not be further from the truth, and we at MTA seek to make that knowledge public! 

We will not hide; we will not be ashamed; we are not guilty for the crimes of others; there is no blood on our hands.  We are mothers, and we want to protect our children the best way we know how!


Who Would Benefit From This Page?

This page is for Mom's, Dad's, Grandparent's, and ANY supporters of the second amendment or firearm safety and education! We need to stand up and speak out against any claims to the contrary! Let's join together as a community and let our voices be heard!


What Makes Us Different From Other Pages?

There are MANY anti MDA pages out there... What makes us unique? We are the FIRST page sponsored by an established organization.  In short, we are not anonymous.  We have faces and names and a very clear purpose.


Aside From Our Viewpoints, How Do We Run Our Page Differently Than MDA?

One thing that differentiates us from MDA (or most other anti-gun sites) is that we DO NOT CENSOR! We will not delete your comments just because we don't agree with them. We will not ban you because you asked a question or don't think like us! We WELCOME the opposition to participate and discuss their views here! We WILL NOT tolerate racist, sexist, or otherwise derogatory comments, and those WILL be removed. Stay respectful when arguing your points, and that goes for both sides!


Who Sponsors Us & Who Runs The Page?

Moms Take Action is sponsored by Ohio Carry, a statewide firearm education and advocacy organization with chapters in all 5 regions of Ohio. The page is run by a mom- Carolyn is currently the Secretary of Ohio Carry.


What Are Our Goals?

We have many goals for education, awareness, and safety at Moms Take Action, but our biggest goal we want known to ALL: We want a sit-down meeting with Shannon Watts and any other members of Moms Demand Action.

We are CALLING YOU OUT Shannon! We want to sit down and meet with you and have the "common sense" discussion MDA speaks of.  Want "gunsense?" Meet with Moms and Gun Owners and lets find some common ground and have a discussion.
